Terms and Conditions

By creating an account or otherwise using MAJIE (“MAJIE”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use MAJIE.

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.
• If you were invited to MAJIE by an institution or instructor, your use is also subject to that institution's own policies.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

MAJIE grants different capabilities depending on your role. Students access subjects they are enrolled in, complete activities and quizzes, and view their own grades. Instructors create and manage subjects, lessons, activities, quizzes, and grading scales, and grade the students enrolled in their subjects. Administrators manage users and platform-wide settings. You agree to use only the capabilities granted to your role.

You agree not to:

• Use MAJIE to harass, threaten, or abuse other users, including through chat.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to bypass grading, quiz, or authentication mechanisms, or access accounts that are not yours.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the platform or its underlying infrastructure.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to MAJIE — including lessons, activity submissions, quiz answers, chat messages, and portfolio items. By submitting content, you grant MAJIE a non-exclusive license to host, store, and display it as needed to operate the service and to the other users it is intended for (for example, an instructor viewing a student's submission, or anyone with the link to a public portfolio).

MAJIE can generate a draft lesson from a topic an instructor supplies. AI-generated drafts may contain errors or inaccuracies and are provided as a starting point only. An instructor who edits and publishes an AI-assisted draft is responsible for its accuracy and appropriateness, in the same way as any other lesson they author.

Grades, gradebooks, and grading scales in MAJIE are tools that reflect the grading decisions made by instructors within the platform. MAJIE does not adjudicate academic integrity disputes; those are governed by your institution's own academic policies.

Portfolio and instructor profile pages you choose to make public can be viewed by anyone with the link, without signing in. You are responsible for the content you choose to publish there.

MAJIE integrates with third-party services to provide certain features — for example, signing in with Google, and a real-time messaging provider used to deliver chat updates. Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant provider's own terms.

You may stop using MAJIE at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or if your institution ends its arrangement with us, in each case with notice where practicable.

MAJIE is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAJIE will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the product. Continued use of MAJIE after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
